EDITOR

(Experience is preferred, not mandatory)

The Editor oversees content creation, ensuring it aligns with the zine's vision and maintains high-quality standards. They will contribute to shaping editorial strategies and curating content. 


  • Strong skills in Editing, Proofreading, and Langauge Precision to ensure high-quality content.
  • Proficiency in Content Review and Creative Collaboration to refine contributions. 
  • Good Written and Verbal Communications skills. 
  • Familiarity with Google Suite. 
  • Adherence to deadlines, passion for non-profits and community building. 

STAFF WRITER

(Experience is preferred, not mandatory)

The Staff Writer contributes their works in the form of poetry, prose and other formats (ones that you are familiar with). Their work gets the opportunity to be published in the Main and General Issue, for Social Media and Substack. 


  • Good Written and Verbal Communication skills. 
  • Openness to explore diverse genres and writing approaches. 
  • Familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Adherence to deadlines, passion for non-profits and community building. 

SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD

(Experience is preferred)

The Social Media Lead manages and enhances the growth of our social media presence, plan content strategies, schedule posts, engage with the online community, and analyse performane to improve reach and engagement. 


  • Knowledge of Social Media Marketing & Social Media Optimisation
  • Strong Content Strategy and Writing Skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Passion for creative communities and non-profit 

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

(Experience is preferred, not mandatory)

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual content, designing graphics and logos, developing branding materials, and working with typography to communicate ideas effectively. Day-to-day tasks may include collaborating with team members to translate concepts into impactful designs and producing digital assets that align with the zine's creative vision. 

 

  • Skill in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create visually appealing designs that engage audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creative expression through design
  • Good Written and Verbal Communications skills. 
  • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
  • Adherence to deadlines, passion for non-profits and community building. 

ARTIST

(Experience is not mandatory)

The Artist or the Modern Picasso, conceptualises and creates original artwork that complements the editorial content of the zine. Responsibilities include collaborating with the editorial and design team, creating illustrations, graphic designs, or mixed-media art pieces, and ensuring visual material aligns with the zine's theme and vision. Artists will play a critical role in enhancing the overall aesthetic and storytelling of the publication. 


  • Knowledge of Artistic Creation of any form, including graphic design, illustration, and/or mixed-media artwork. Not necessary to know all forms. 
  • Familiarity with digital design tools. 
  • Passion for storytelling and creating visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of creative projects and styles. 

PHOTOGRAPHER

(Experience is not mandatory)

As a Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that align with the e-zine's creative vision. Responsibilities include planning and executing photography tasks, collaborating with writers and other contributors, and adhering to deadlines to support content creation for publication. 


  • Basic knowledge of photography, including lighting, framing, and subject composition. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and adapt to specific project themes or guidelines.
  • Passion for creativity, storytelling, and visual arts.
  • Open to phone or camera photography. 
  • A background in the creative or editorial industry is a plus but not required.
